A dynamic safe space in Somerset for men to meet up and support each other.

A fortnightly wellbeing social, at one of our exclusive-use private venues in Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea.
*
1st HOUR:  Have a chat, a few games (Playstation, board games, darts, table football) and a bite from the buffet (tea, coffee and food are all included in the small fee).
2nd HOUR:  A fun and supportive, confidential and completely optional GROUP CHAT, on any and all subjects, where everyone will get the chance to share - or just listen.  Then a reflective wind down and reset with your own Zen favourites, like YOGA, MEDITATION, TAI CHI and MINDFULNESS, if that appeals to you - all ideas are welcome!

3rd HOUR:  BAR'S OPEN!  Get back to the games or sit down for a discreet, supportive 1-2-1.

*

REMEMBER - YOU DON'T HAVE TO PARTICIPATE IN ANYTHING YOU DON'T WANT TO.  JUST COME ALONG FOR A CUPPA AND A CHAT, IF THAT'S ALL YOU WANT.  ALL WE ASK IS THAT YOU RESPECT EACH OTHER.

Booking is essential

To ensure everybody gets the most benefit from the social, we have limited spaces available for each event.
There is a £5.00 fee to cover costs, which can only be refunded if cancelled at least 24 hours before the event.
Please note, you will be required to sign in upon arrival.

Who can attend the Wellspace Social?

Men of all ages over 18 are particularly encouraged, including those who identify as men.

What activities are offered?

Chat, tea, coffee and a round-robin sit-down, where you can freely and openly discuss anything that comes to mind with a like-minded group, or 1-2-1 with others, including an experienced support coach.  There'll be games, snacks, and attendees are invited to promote and propose their own zen reflective practices, like yoga, tai chi, mindfulness and meditation.  This is a perpetually evolving project, and members are encouraged to bring therapeutic  and inspirational ideas to share with the group.

Is the Wellspace Social a safe and inclusive environment?

Yes, it's a safe, discreet and confidential space to share feelings, worries, challenges and experiences, where members are encouraged to fully support each other and be proactive in the evolution of the project.
